You may be wondering

Do you take my insurance?
Amazon Pharmacy accepts most insurance plans.
When you have a prescription on file, we calculate your copay automatically, so you never have to wonder what's covered.

If you're new to Amazon Pharmacy, we'll ask for information needed to transfer your prescription and save this information to your Amazon profile. You'll use this profile to easily request additional prescription transfers.

If you want to sign up for Amazon Pharmacy to be ready for future prescription needs, we can look up your insurance information for you during signup. You can also enter the information yourself during signup or at any time after signup from your dashboard. Then, you just need to search for your medication to check the price from the page with your medication's details, using your Amazon profile.

You can also choose to use Amazon Pharmacy without insurance. Either way, we'll show you both the copay price with insurance and the lowest price without insurance, including any savings for Amazon Prime members.

Do Prime members get free 2-day delivery with Amazon Pharmacy?
We try to get your medication to you quickly—but safely is our top priority. Some medications require specialized or refrigerated packaging, and additional health checks by our pharmacists. And in some locations, we are unable to deliver on Sunday.

Once you sign up for a medication with automatic refills, we deliver your next order before you run out—so you’ll always have enough.
What is copay and who determines my insurance copays?
When you fill a prescription, your insurance plan pays a part of the cost and you pay the rest. The part you pay is called a copay. Your insurance plan determines your copays and the amounts can vary depending on what type of plan you have.

Many HMO plans have fixed copays for all prescriptions. So your cost is the same, no matter how many times you fill or how expensive the total cost. Other plans charge coinsurance, which means you pay a percentage of the total medication cost, instead of a fixed amount. In this case, the more expensive the medication is, the higher your out of pocket cost will be.

Some plans have tiered pricing that depend on where you have your prescriptions filled. These plans might offer lower copays if you fill with a specific pharmacy.

At Amazon Pharmacy, we show your copay price with insurance and the estimated cash price without insurance before you pay, so you can choose the best option.

Your medication, delivered.
